The House Renovation

Some years ago we were forced to sell our beautiful, large house and move to this much smaller semi detached one.  It is fair to say looking back, we were traumatised but we could see the potential of this 1930's Art deco house (even though it had a flat roof) No storage space!

We had VERY limited funds, six month old twins and a ten year old who was not impressed to swop his large bedroom for a smelly box room with flowers on the wallpaper.

This is the story of the journey we have taken over those years, renovating our home as funds, energy and  ideas allowed.  We are almost finished, although I dream of one day being able to afford a conservatory and being able to knock down the wall between the kitchen and dining/my work space to make one big glorious family room.(  *After ten years we have finally realised this dream)
