I have a bit of an obsession with beautifully designed home wares.  Just when I think I have the perfect combination of new and vintage items arranged around my home,  I discover another piece of perfect white gorgeousness that just has to fit in somewhere.

The trouble with having eleven year old twin boys is they no longer want to go anywhere in the school holidays.  Its a real trial trying to encourage them out of their bedroom and away from the computers and gadgets !  So I decided to take myself off yesterday for a bit of a mooch around the local charity shops in Heavitree and Topsham.

I'm busy with real life at the moment, lots of follow up appointments with the husband and blogging is perhaps not a regular as it should be.  

Christmas Tree - Pines and Needles






There has never been any discussion when it comes to Christmas trees in our home.  It always has been and always will be "real is best".  I love the look, the smell, the whole experience of going out each year and choosing just the right one.  So I was thrilled to bits when the lovely people at Pines and Needles contacted me and offered to send me one of their best selling Nordman Fir Christmas trees.
