Damaged but still beautiful

A new lady seller join our happy little vintage and homemade band in Topsham last week.  In a past life she was an antiques dealer, so she knows her stuff (which could come in handy for those of us still learning about vintage items).

When she popped this piece on her table I knew I was lost.  I had to have it, my collection of white china is building rapidly and this even though it has been repaired is just the most beautiful piece.

Its Moore Brothers England and is such a gorgeous piece (sorry the pictures just don't do it justice).
