Big Ideas, Small space

Searching for inspiration for my garden she shed, I recently came across an article on how to decorate a contemporary small space.
The building was called a cocoon9 and is the concept of entrepreneur Christopher Burch and builder Edwin Mahoney.   At only 480 square feet in size with with a wall of floor to ceiling glass it is an inspired idea and gives a whole new meaning to the word prefab !  This particular space was my kind of heaven, a beautiful white beach inspired property with bleached grey floors and white walls.

Using this high end concept and interior design style you can take inspiration to create your own beautiful space.  It doesn't have to cost a fortune.  Keep to carefully chosen pieces of furniture help to give the feeling of luxury and comfort without crowding .  Using a oversized mirror is a classic design idea to gives the illusion of more space, and by keeping to touches of one accent colour throughout the different areas flow into each other beautifully.

Installing cupboards from floor to ceiling not only maximises the storage space but also makes budget or high street cupboards look bespoke. Grouping accessories in three's is also a classic styling idea.  Simple is best.

Ok, so my shed is not going to look exactly like this, but a girl can dream.
